AUTHOR BIO

Keith lives in North Yorkshire and started writing plays in 2010 following a career as a Chief Education Officer.

He is currently a Writer in Residence at The Pateley Playhouse. 

His plays have been performed at the Classic Stage Company, New York; The Frazer Theatre, Knaresborough; The Arts Centre, Washington; Saltburn Community Theatre; Hampsthwaite Community Hall; and The Playhouse, Pateley Bridge. He was a finalist in the Annual Samuel French Off Broadway Short Play Festival, New York (2016); the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival, New Orleans, 2019 and the Full Circle Theatre Playwriting Festival 2017. He has twice been semi-finalist in the All England Theatre Festival and won the 2019 Geoffrey Whitworth UK Playwriting Competition, as well as being the runner-up in 2014 (the Journey), 2015 (Predictive Text) and 2018 (On False Premises).
